A CRY FOR HELP

It is true that everyone want to succeed and see their dream unfolding into reality and of course that is so possible if you truly determine to work it out.

But there are principles that you must follow and also work by them accordingly!  do you know that  a lot of people are already shedding tears now about their lives, how they are going to start it when they remembered what they passed through last year, Some marriages are being threatened, demotion in place of work instead of promotion, broken engagement, miscarriages, disappointment, rejection and sickness.

Some have begun to ask God questions, when did the year begin that am going through all these already? Is this how 2016 will be? I have fasted, prayed but instead things are getting worst! Please hold your peace, sometimes you pray and do not receive answers to your prayers because you pray amiss; ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts.  James 4:3. You assume you know everything, you just believe that things must work out as you plan!

Wait a minutes, what if that road you want to follow leads to you to destruction. You see there is nothing God cannot do; it is just that we are sometimes impatient and desperate. Desperation can lead you to do that which you can regret for the rest of your life, hold your peace and believe in God! Look unto God the author and finisher of our faith! You think God does not know that which your heart desire. It is written they looked unto him, and were lightened: and their faces were not ashamed (Psalm 34:5). 

God is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us (Ephesians 3:20). He’s able! listen to this; And the Lord said unto Abram, after that Lot was separated from him, Lift up now thine eyes, and look from the place where thou art northward, and southward, and eastward, and westward:  For all the land which thou seest, to thee will I give it, and to thy seed for ever. Genesis 13:15

Beloved you see it was after Lot was separated from Abraham that God spoke to him, if there are things you know that  you have to let go from your life because it does not give glory to God, please do because this can hinder your prayer. The psalmist prayed: Wherewithal shall a young man cleanse his way? by taking heed thereto according to thy word. Psalm 119:9. When you despise the Word of God, you are on your way to destruction. It is only in God’s word that you can find strength to succeed and see your dream turning into reality, not the help of people, no one can help you unless God said so, the heart of the kings are in  hand of God and turns it however  He wishes. Listen to this: 

And David said, Is there yet any that is left of the house of Saul, that I may shew him kindness for Jonathan's sake?

 And there was of the house of Saul a servant whose name was Ziba. And when they had called him unto David, the king said unto him, Art thou Ziba? And he said, Thy servant is he.

 And the king said, Is there not yet any of the house of Saul, that I may shew the kindness of God unto him? And Ziba said unto the king, Jonathan hath yet a son, which is lame on his feet.
 2Samuel 9:1-3.

Mephibosheth that was lame on his feet was not in competition with anybody, but when God’s appointed time arrives he was remembered regardless of his condition because he was due for honour and dignity.

Then king David sent, and fetched him out of the house of Machir, the son of Ammiel, from Lodebar.

 Now when Mephibosheth, the son of Jonathan, the son of Saul, was come unto David, he fell on his face, and did reverence. And David said, Mephibosheth. And he answered, Behold thy servant!

 And David said unto him, Fear not: for I will surely shew thee kindness for Jonathan thy father's sake, and will restore thee all the land of Saul thy father; and thou shalt eat bread at my table continually.

 And he bowed himself, and said, What is thy servant, that thou shouldest look upon such a dead dog as I am? 2Samuel 9:6-8

Humility is the ladder that you to make that dream a reality, Mephibosheth saw himself as a dog not just a living one but a dead dog. Hmmm…what are you so proud of? Humble yourself and let God lift you up. And do them with a perfect heart, in spirit and in truth so that you will receive your reward!

Amaziah was twenty and five years old when he began to reign, and he reigned twenty and nine years in Jerusalem. And his mother's name was Jehoaddan of Jerusalem.

And he did that which was right in the sight of the Lord, but not with a perfect heart.

2Chronicles 25:1-2

Have time for God, always keep an appointment with me, be zealous in serving Him, study and meditate on His word. Win souls for God! How is your spiritual life?  Are all your prayers God bless me, God kill my enemies, God answer me by fire?

No matter where you are, the Spirit of God will locate you when it is God’s appointed time to honour you, so whatever thing you are passing through now are just processes, you can ask our brother Joseph, his brothers hated him, they despised him but that didn’t make him abandon the things of God, he humble himself and fear God and the presence of God was always with him if not he wouldn’t have been able to interprets dreams.

Joseph endured; Until the time that his word came: the word of the Lord tried him. The king sent and loosed him; even the ruler of the people, and let him go free. He made him lord of his house, and ruler of all his substance (Psalm 105:19-21)

 Oh! Wait a minute; you think you do not have any gift from God? Please you do, just keep on having appointment with Him, you will soon see it clearly and if you already know yours, what are you doing with it? 

There was a man that gave talent to his servants before traveling, some he have one, two, and five according to their ability, and others use the talent well, develop it and gain more but listen to what the servant whom his lord gave one talent did: He went and dig the ground and buried it. The talent was collected from him to another servant that knows the good and benefit of it.

 For unto every one that hath shall be given, and he shall have abundance: but from him that hath not shall be taken away even that which he hath.

 And cast ye the unprofitable servant into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth. Matthew 25:29-30

You may have been crying and shouting for help because you think you have problems, you do not have a problem, what you have is a decision to make!

If you are a believer, you need God now than before, you have to cry for help, tell Him you are weak, you are worthless without Him, hold Him tight, rededicate your life to him and surrender all your plans, dreams, decision, take more of Him and ask Him what you must do to please Him this year, and then see if the lines will not fall unto you in pleasant places! He is able, His work is Honorable and Glorious (Psalm 113:3). He will ever be mindful of his covenant (Psalm 113:5).

Please if you reading this now and you have not surrender your life to Jesus, believe me you need him in your life, please help yourself now and make the right choice, don’t let this hour pass you by, tomorrow may be too late, you don’t have to be in church before you surrender to Jesus, you can give your life to Jesus anywhere, anytime and now is the acceptable time, brothers and sisters please open the door of your heart and give Jesus a chance to change your life, he loves you, he died for you!
