Happy New Year
beloved Readers of Wisdombreeze. I am extremely so happy to have you here
today, please don’t be in a hurry to leave, I cherish your presence. Welcome and remain lifted in Jesus name.
1And Elisha the prophet called one of the children of the
prophets, and said unto him, Gird up thy loins, and take this box of oil in
thine hand, and go to Ramothgilead:
2 And when thou comest thither, look out there Jehu the son
of Jehoshaphat the son of Nimshi, and go in, and make him arise up from among
his brethren, and carry him to an inner chamber;
3 Then take the box of oil, and pour it on his head, and say,
Thus saith the Lord, I have anointed thee king over Israel.
Then open the door, and flee, and tarry not.
Beloved, you
can’t make it by following the crowd; you have to excuse yourself and learn to
be alone to have the right mindset.
Listen to this,
“Carry him to an inner chamber” This means if you ever want to advance or
succeed beyond your present level, learn to be away from your friends sometimes
and talk to God privately and He will reward you openly. Friends can only help
and stop where their hands stop, that’s if they are willing to at all but it is
only God alone can help you beyond imagination.
Hear this…“Pour
the oil over his head’” The breath of the Holy Spirit can only be experienced
in a still and quiet with a sincere heart. That dearly beloved can’t be
experience in a crowd, because not all who are called Jews are Jews.
Once the Holy
Spirit takes charge of you and His Glory envelops you, you don’t struggle to
hear from God. You will hear a still voice telling you what to do and what not
to do.
My dear reader,
how ready are you to hear from God daily this year? What or who will take the
place of God in your life? Are you ready to be hot or cold? You want to stand
out or remain a follower? How ready are
you to go into the ‘inner’ without your Friends, husband, wife, Business
partner, Boss, Neigbour, Bestie, to mention but a few. Salvation is personal no
matter how you claim to love or attached to someone, you still have to work it
out yourself, with fear and trembling.
I am not saying
you should isolate from them completely, no, but give yourself a little space
from them to have a deep discussion with God, reunite your relationship with
your first love.
“…I anoint you
to be king over Israel” Beloved, anointing comes with responsibilities. There
are certain things you must do to keep the anointing flowing. Our Brother
Joshua tells us as soon as we enter his compound in room number eight, he says “This
book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth: but thou shall meditate therein
day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written
therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shall have
good success. My esteem reader, that’s the secret.
I am begging
you, please stop being a stumbling block to yourself and then start praying and
releasing Holy Ghost Fire and Thunder, wait a minute please, if that Thunder
falls on you, will you survive?
And being close
to successful people, most popular, people that matters in the society will not
make you attain higher height. They will not teach you how to catch fish but will
only give you one or two fishes once in a while.
Can you remember
the story of the great female evangelist in the Bible? The Samaritan woman. It was when she went to
the well alone to draw water that she met one on one with the destiny changer.
Jesus. Of course there were friends and neighbor around her that she would have
easily borrowed a pail of water from but she decided to trek to the well and
learn how to draw water because going to the well was something the women did
in group but for her to go alone, it means her reputation was nothing to write
home about. A well behaved woman has many friends but who will want to be
identified with a prostitute.
My beloved friend,
when it is God's appointed time for you to be librated; protocol must be broken
for you to attain your higher height. It is written, for your shame, you will
have double (Isaiah 61:7). Dearest, at that time, men didn’t used to talk with women not to
mention Jews talking to the Samaritans. So when Jesus requested for water from
the Samaritan woman it was like a mission impossible.
One thing I
loved about this woman is that, she was humble, look at how she carefully
addresses Jesus, Sir. She was not an
indecisive person. She knows how to make a good decision at the right time. She
speaks her mind. She was a woman of great faith – she believed in the coming of
the Messiah and her faith speaks for her, she met the messiah and her life was
never the same again.
Beloved, it
doesn’t matter how long you’ve been disappointed, today, as you are reading
this message you are already in the appointment list of God. Signed, sealed and
delivered in Jesus name, Amen.
This woman never
asked to be popular but there is no where the Gospel of Our lord Jesus is
preached that she is not mentioned. God will showcase you this year in Jesus
name, amen.
