ALABEKEE OLA: “POSSESSING OUR POSSESSIONS”

Good evening beloved Leaders and readers, I welcome you once again to another Spirit fill session of 2015 bloggers' conference!

Although am still expecting  the arrival of our next Minister for today Naija Mom, I pray God's Grace and Divine Wisdom where ever she is in all her endeavors, Amen!

*smiles* please  with great joy in my heart, my beloved Leaders and readers, ladies and Gentle men...I now call on our Youth's Vice president, this is a woman with few word that carries God's power what i truly admire in her is the Grace of God that flows when she speaks, her tongue is a pen of a ready writer, indeed she is fairer than the children of men: grace is pour unto her lips.

I believed, therefore have I spoken, I now present to you Alabekee Ola....

Welcome to December beautiful people of wlcmw’s blog. I must say I’m honoured to be among the ministers of the Word during this Bloggers’ Conference tagged “Walking Into My Divine Inheritance”. God bless Pastor Lucy for this rare privilege.

I will be speaking on a topic I have titled “POSSESSING OUR POSSESSIONS”.
I want you to know that there is a promise for every Christian to claim in the book of Obadiah 7:17. It reads: “But upon mount Zion shall be deliverance, and there shall be holiness; and the house of Jacob shall possess their possessions”.

This promise was originally given to the children of Israel. For a long time, the nation Israel was hindered from enjoying God’s provisions by Edom.
Though oppressed and opposed by this enemy-nation for many years, Israel’s oppression wasn’t meant to last forever. God had a great plan for her – He would cut off Edom forever so that she would inherit the possession (verses 10, 18).

So when Obadiah the prophet spoke about the house of Jacob, that is the Israelites possessing their possessions, he was actually making reference to the restoration of their former possessions or possessing the territories around them, including Edom (verse 18-20).

God gives Christians the same promise today. Just as He restored the former possessions of the Israelites to them, He will restore to us anything and everything we have lost. We will possess our possessions In Jesus’ name.

For us to claim and enjoy what is really ours, we need to pray. We need to ask God for what He has promised to give to us. God wants us to claim our rights, inheritance and privileges in Christ. So if we come to Him in sincerity, humility, earnestness and righteousness, He’ll give us whatever we ask.

“If my people which are called by my name shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land”. (2 Chronicles 7:14).

My prayer is that heaven will be attentive to our prayers whenever we pray In Jesus’ Name – Amen.

Thank you for sparing your valuable time to read through, God bless.
