THE TRUE MARK OF MARTURITY-(FORGIVENESS)

The true mark of maturity is when somebody hurts you and you try to understand their situation instead of trying to hurt them back. Hmmm, someone might ask, what kind of situation will give he or she the right to hurts me that deep?

Ephesians 4:31-32 says Let all bitterness, and wrath and anger and clamour and evil speaking, be put away from you with all malice:

And be ye kind one to another, tender hearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgive you.

Life is too short to wake up in the morning with regrets, so, love the people who treat you right, forgive the ones who don’t, and believe that everything happens for a reason.

For if ye love them which love you, what thank have ye? For sinners also love those who love them.

And if ye do good to them which do good to you, what thank have ye? For sinners also do even the same.  Luke6:32-34.

But love ye your enemies, and do good…and your reward will be great, and ye shall be the children of the Highest: for he is kind unto the unthankful and to the evil.  Luke 6:35

My dear brothers and sisters, you have to do good to whosoever have wrong you by forgiving the person because you have the mind of Christ, So if you know who you are, you truly have to showcase the Light of  Christ in you for the unbelievers  to see and probably repent. You don’t have to wait for someone to be begging you to do the commandment of your father.

 

 

If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my father’s commandments, and abide in his love.

These things have I spoken unto you that my joy might remain in you and that your joy might be full.

This is my commandment, that ye love one another, as I have loved you.

Greater love hath no man than this , that a man lay down his life for his friends. 

John 15:10-13

Oh! My dear reader, if you love God, you will  forgive all those that have wrong and hurt you. You may ask, what if I forgive and the person repeat the same mistake again?

*What does the Law of forgiveness said?

Then came peter to him, and said, Lord, how oft shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him till seven times?

Jesus saith unto him, I say not unto thee, until seven time: but, until seventy times seven.

Matthew 18:21-22

My beloved, have you even try to forgive at least once, twice or thrice? Hmmm, do you love Jesus? Then, why not obey Him?

 

No way. I can’t forgive. Never.  Impossible. Over my dead body.  Must be a Joker to believe I will ever forgive. You must be dreaming.Till you die. No one can ever talk and convinced me to forgive.

 Hmmmm, have you ever said any of the above statement? Then my beloved, Jesus is talking to you right now. Beloved it is time to let go, you love Jesus? You have to obey His Words.

You are strong and you can do it. The weak can never forgive. Forgiveness is the attribute of strong. Oh !my brothers, oh! My sister, don’t say I’ll rather be weak than to forgive. Please forgiveness is a virtue of the brave.

 

 you can't wish someone well without you forgiving the person first. Even if you don’t want them in life again, forgive them and let them go.

Grudge not one against another brethren, least ye be condemned: behold , the judge standeth before the door. James 5:9

Beloved, to forgive is the highest, most beautiful form of love. In return, you will receive untold peace and happiness. To err is human and to forgive is divine.

Forgiveness is the key that unlocks the door of resentment and handcuffs of hatred. It is a power that breaks the chains of bitterness and the shackles of selfishness.

Anger can only makes you smaller while forgiveness forces you to grow beyond what you are.

Harden not your heart please, now is the moment.

Beloved, why not  visit the person , reach out for you phone and call the person, is it in work place stand up from office and reach that soul, believe me , tomorrow maybe too late and you will be crying and saying, Had I known,  however it may be, even if they are not sorry, please forgive. God bless you for forgiving. Amen.

 

For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly father will also forgive you… Matthew 6:14
